FOLK FEST SUR LE CANAL
Art direction, design and illustrations for the revamp of Montreal's now-defunct Folk Fest.
For the logo revamp, I took my cues from the old logo's guitar and canal motif and simplified it for multiple and varied use. The addition of the squirrel came about organically, as it had become something of an unofficial mascot after appearing on several of the fest's posters that I designed.
My collaboration with the Folk Fest, and the integration of the squirrel into its logo, began with this first art poster created for the 2016 edition.
